Finger Driven Applications
| | We experiment various applications to be used with a touch screen: home and business applications, single and multi-touch screens.

As productivity can be improved considerably with a touch-screen monitor, we think they will soon enter in our homes, our offices and our pockets.
When we check how children are familiar with touch-screens, and how they need to learn the use of the mouse, it seems clear that touching the screen is much more natural than using a mouse.
With capacitive touch-screens, objects on the screens can be moved with a finger. Click and Drag and drop can be used to orginaze your photos and your emails, approve or reject a request, submit a query, etc.
We imagine a mid-size touch screen (15-22") in your kitchen for your notes and memos, recipes, digital photos, music and video, TV and radio, etc.
We imagine a smaller touch screen (7-10") near your television and/or in your hand to control your TV and other multimedia componments, your lights and energy, your security, etc.
We imagine a large touch screen in your office (at least 30") to organize your emails, do phone and video calls, approve or send a request, control a processus, etc. |
